Sue & Waldo
I have been given 2 sets of metal articles and would like to get them knurled. I am in Melbourne but may be able to post them interstate. Does anyone know who does this?

grumpette
I bought a set of UD articles when Zeph was 6 weeks old, as he loves to carry things: Five and a half years later we have only just started in Open. Bloody boy brain

grumpette
I swear to God he will be the death of me. He showed the most promise and beautiful working ability out of all the boys, very attentive and focused, then teenage hood set in and he became so distracted. Except when retrieving especially around water, hence water rescue training. He will ignore everything else, even bitches swimming in close proximity. Totally focused on me. Dee on the other hand would not retrieve if her life depended on it and was not attentive or confident. She was never going to get out of CCD. Now she enters Open trials and does beautifully. She will be using the UD articles before her brother. Confused much
grumpette
I just looked at my UD articles and they are smooth as well. I will ask a friend who does metal work and see whether he can knurl them. If he can do it, you can give your metal articles to Sam at training, and she can give them to me at Bulla training. grumpette
They certainly know how to mess with your mind, and keep you non-complacent that is for sure. I have spoken with the engineer and he knows what I am talking about and thinks that it is doable. Now to find out when and a price.
Ptolomy
You need somebody with a lathe who can knurl them. My dad and son used make UD sets but not any more.

These photos are of Dee and were taken in Adelaide this year in June. The weather was abysmal but she did not care.
