Wanted Yorkshire Terrier

Hi

A customer at my work has recently lost her Yorkie,and would like to get another one.

She would prefer a male from around two-three years. (Age not a big issue)

She is a mature lady that lives in a unit. She would prefer a Yorkie, but I think if there was a small non shedding cross breed she also may be interested.Her last dog did not shed.

She lives in Sydney.

There are 3 litters advertised on the DOL Yorkshire Terrier page. Also suggest a phone around to breeders listed as litters are not always advertised and Yorkies are hard to find these days.

I did check the breeders page, also looked in the mature dogs.

She doesn't want all the work associated with a puppy.

Will contact some breeders they may know of some dogs needing rehoming.

Wanted to give a rescue dog a second chance first.

Very very uncommon in rescue to get a genuine PB youngster/young adult :) Some may also be I.D'd as yorkies but they aren't. Keep an eye on the pounds where they are snapped up by buyers pretty quickly when you do see the occasional rare one.

Your best bet is probably via the breeders, and I think the Silky Club in VIC has helped a few yorkies when required.

You may have been the lady who sent me an inquiry which I'm catching up on now. I was completely thrown by the loss of my big fat cat and got a bit behind. I'm terribly sorry.

If possible meet the dog in question, I adopted a older yorkie early this year and it was a nightmare. After months of tests and working with a behaviourist, I put him down.

It was heart breaking
