Malakita
All good, found my answer on their website. Wasn't looking in the right place to start with. The following is copied from their website. "Covering some 169 hectares, the gardens offer such diversity, with towering trees, abundant shade, water features, endless rose gardens and thoughtful plantings. It also boasts a Red River Gum believed to be around 400 years old and over 30,000 roses of over 300 varieties. Apart from traditional cemetery purposes, our grounds also host a range of community events throughout the year and provide a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography. More and more couples are also choosing to be married within our gardens and film students and commercial organisations have found they provide the perfect setting. Springvale Botanical Cemetery also hosts a number of rose pruning demonstrations and you are able to join our numerous historical and botanical tours. A large team of dedicated people work hard to ensure that the grounds remain in a pristine condition. The team includes qualified gardeners, horticultural experts, arborists, rosarians and a dedicated group of grounds people. We encourage and welcome you to enjoy the beauty and serenity of our grounds at any time. Feel free to take a walk, walk your dog on a lead, jog or simply sit down and enjoy your lunch. You can’t imagine a more beautiful or tranquil setting." Edited September 24, 2014 by Malakita
