mita
I know that Qld law deals with debarking (pitch lowering) by a vet, as a regulated procedure. Two conditions are laid down by law for when a vet is permitted perform it. I presently know of people who are close to meeting all the conditions, but nothing has worked, so next step MAY be consulting a vet who has experience in the procedure as well as checking out the case to make sure it complies with the law. I used to know the name of a Brisbane vet surgeon who was willing, experienced & successful in doing this procedure. But he's long retired. So my question is, do any Brisbane people have up-to-date contact for such a vet (or vets)? Please PM. Thanks.
