VizslaMomma
I can't stand to think some ran off in fear from the accident site. Reminds me of the little crestie that has never been found after the breeder's dog trailer was involved in a bad accident (last year?). I still think that dog is alive and living with a family somewhere. Scary experience for humans so imagine being in a crate, heading to the unknown and going through this. I hope all the survivors (human and animal) pull through no worse for the trauma. March of last year that happened. Seems not long ago. As if rescue is not stressful enough, any complication by accidents is awful. Really upsetting.
HazyWal
A friend rang me about this today, she said it was GTE what is GTE? They transport a lot of greyhounds from the AIC here.
valbitz
There were 14 dogs all up, 6 from Mildura Pound the rest from Swan Hill and Sunraysia, 19 cats and kittens including a mum with 6 kittens and 20 guinea pigs. That's all of the animals on transport New photos of the crash scene, click to enlarge

Loving my Oldies
A friend rang me about this today, she said it was GTE what is GTE? They have been around forever and are always helping rescue groups I can't stand to think some ran off in fear from the accident site. Reminds me of the little crestie that has never been found after the breeder's dog trailer was involved in a bad accident They were on FB a couple of days ago on the anniversary talking about Cyan (the little one never found.) So sad to always be wondering. Would drive me crazy, I think. Edited August 5, 2014 by Dame Danny's Darling

mixeduppup
I have been informed it wasn't GTE but a private volunteer transporter called Noel. The person in the other car has passed away. RIP

valbitz
These two dogs are still missing but they have been spotted by the police so they are alive. There are people out searching for them, the wolfy pup is in a critical condition at the vet receiving treatment. All the cats are headed to their respective rescues
