Ivory & Beau
Turmeric hasn't helped Spencer's lumps at all. Existing ones have gotten bigger and new ones have appeared PM me if you want and I can let you know how I feed it. Things started to improve once I fed it correctly. Ivory & Beau
Just thought I'd update Ivys progress ... all going very well *touch wood* She's been on Meals for Mutts dry with raw etc and turmeric/black pepper/oil every morning on her breakfast. We did stay on Ziwi Peak for awhile but it wasn't easy to buy so I switched her to MfM and we're happy with it. I did find a good source of organic turmeric with 5% curicum. No changes to her lump that couldn't be removed on June 24th 2014. And no new growths!!
RedFeather
Bas's breeder shared this album with our group over the weekend, contains interesting information for anyone wanting to add turmeric to their dog's diet (plus some other bits and bobs). The second image has their recipe for 'turmeric paste' which is apparently how you get the most out of turmeric treatment.
megan_
Thanks for the update Ivy. Are you able to let us know where you got hte tumeric from? Lots of my family take it and it is very expensive!
