Waggy
I have a young dog that is hopeless on the stack in the ring and have been told I should use show stackers to help him. I have used my sisters stackers once and he seemed to respond quite well. What is the best way to use these in order to get the best outcome? Any tips appreciated. Dogsfevr
Depends why he is being norty ,personally im not a fan of them .I have seen dogs that did do well on them & others that stand in fear afterwards with no body language . They may make them stand style but it won't fix a training issue or even soreness . Any of my dogs that fidget on the stack go to our bowen person first or a good chiro a sore dog will shift & do all sorts of things to be more comfy on the stack & forcing them to stand if there sore won't achieve anything , If they say there is nothing wrong with them then i now i can adapt my training to suit that dog & often easily achieved by changing methods
