Katdogs
Don't feel bad DD, that's just your human stuff going on and that's normal. Dogs are just pure love and forgiveness; they don't have stuff like we do. From DDD's thread about Myrtie but I didn't want to hijack. I've been hanging on to this thought all week about a family dog being pts today for his bad hips, knees, elbows. He's only 12 months old and must have been in pain for much of that but has such a sweet temperament all the memories are of a happy loving dog. His 5yo human brother seems to be coping better than the humans in the family. It's such a terribly difficult decision but even Dr Ledbetter can't offer hope Vale Charlie. A short life but full and happy.

Loving my Oldies
Oh goodness, Comrade, that is so sad. Poor little Charlie - some just draw the short straw. The owners must be devastated to lose a much loved dog and to have to make that awful decision. Healing thoughs for them.
Katdogs
Thanks everyone, especially DD today. His breeder is aware. Nobody would ever want this outcome for a pup. So, so sad for the people. I reckon his tail kept wagging to the end though.

Oh he SOO wanted to get the ball! ETA his job was to teach his boy to not be scared of dogs and to be gentle and loving. He did his job beautifully.
