Awwww.. Little Whippy Needing A Home

Recommended Posts

Looks like by the comments on Horse someone was going down from Launceston to meet him today. Hope the big fella gets out, Brightside are not what I would consider knowledgeable on greyhound rehoming :(

Oh dear, fingers crossed for the big man.

But you are right, Tassie is far, far away.... just need to tell myself that about x1000 more times! (But could be so worth it  )

as far as I know these two are still available and they're in Vic.

My link

1362 views and still there...

I'd be more than happy to publicise them on the Iggy Rescue website and Facebook page in case that would help - we have a lot of Whippet owners and admirers who view our sites regularly.

If someone would like us to do that, please let us know.

Hopefully this whippet wasn't also stolen from a breeder :coffee:

Is there one missing from a breeder that fits this description?

Emma Haswell is known down here for "liberating" dogs from registered breeders.

Do they chip dogs in Tassie?

Who is Emma Haswell?

For dogs over 6 months, it's required by law here. Howver, vets aren't required to check chips before treating a dog so for tracking stolen pets, they're basically useless.
