I just wanted to say here congratulations to all of the nominees and winners at the MDBA Dog Owners Choice Awards. It was a great night with 160 people with Rescue highly represented.

YP Puppy Rescue took off Master Rescuer of the Year and Kellie Vickers from AWDRI won the Foster Carer of the Year.

Nominations are now open for the 8^th with a new category to help rescue – Volunteer fundraiser of the Year too.

Thanks also to everyone who placed a nomination.

I think this new award is a nice touch as not everyone can help out with the actual dogs, but that doesn't mean their commitment to rescue isn't strong in other ways.
