bel
Miss Audrey is doing well only 10 days to go. After thinking she had lost her babies , to seeing them on ultrasound with strong heartbeats, I'm extremely excited to say she had an X-ray to count numbers and she is having 5. Ptolomy
Great news Bel and lovely babies 3woofs and steppenwoofkennels. My babies are growing like weeds and just because I didn't have enough to do, I also had an 8 week old toller baby come and join the pack.

Ptolomy
congrats bel glad to hear :) Ptolomy the more the merrier they say  That's right Monteba - what's another one when you have lots already Just goes with the saying tollers/dogs are like potato chips - you can't stop at one Babies are 2 weeks old today. Interesting that eyes are just opening - this is a couple of days later than usual. They are very contented, growing like weeds and look like fat slugs. bel
How are everyone's July babies going? Sadly we have to say goodbye to one of our babies today. Poor baby Tate was diagnosed with a grade VI heart murmur at 6 days of age and he's not gaining weight and is actually loosing weight despite feeding well. He is now below the average birth weight of a shih Tzu baby at 12 days of age. Although quite a strong puppy I think it's unfair to him as he struggles and think what a poor quality of life he may have with such a bad heart murmur. Will be seeing the vets around 12-1 today and making the final decision.
Oggidoggy
So sad to read your post, that is the downside of breeding. Doing the right thing for our fur kids can be the hardest of all. ♡♡♡
