*kirty*
I know melz, I mean I don't like the way they operate and don't normally donate. But I love doing this walk, seeing all the dogs and stalls, etc. Another local rescue has just started doing a similar walk so hopefully that takes off so I can do that instead. :)
keetamouse
Canberra one is brilliant we have a stall, rescue groups in Canberra are always part of the MPW here, I understand that the Vic Branch apparently don't work with rescue. Maree CPR
*kirty*
The staff at the Vic RSPCA are lovely, but no they don't work with rescue. Many smaller rescues attend and walk wearing their promotional gear (which I will be doing for Pug Rescue) but I don't think they let other rescues have stalls. They do have demos from breed clubs though.

*kirty*
I know. :) As I said, staff are great but the corporation in general is not.
OSoSwift
OUr Local Friends of the RSCPA run the one day here and all the money stays locally. They are not having their's until October as all fo the foreshore is fenced off for another few months

benshiva
Ahh if you have to pay I'll continue to refrain from attending. They don't deserve a single cent.

The RSPCA rely on this.
