DeltaCharlie
Some rather busy people too :) I know how exhausting we find a small litter when it comes to all the training and socialising etc, couldn't even comprehend 17 :)

Little Gifts
Poor Osha's boobies are never going to be the same again! The good thing for those pups if they need to be weaned earlyish is they could go in their own little litters of three or four to foster carers. That would give them company and socialisation skill opportunities. Better than fostering them out as solos and having to find 17 carers!

mita
If you're a SE Qld-er, there's a request at the end of the article. The puppies at that Amberley military training base, go out to be fostered by people in the community. The facility is looking for people to help foster the dogs before they go into training. If you are interested in fostering one of Osha's puppies, phone 5361 3688.
