CrazyCresties
 I switched to manual one day as I was trying to photograph a jet black dog, a yellow one and a chocolate one all together - I decided to tell the camera what to do as it obviously couldn't figure it out for itself and the exposure was all over the place  It's just like second nature now and isn't scary once you get the hang of it, Don will be perfect for practising blacks :)
persephone
I have been using manual with the old pentax ... cos it has old old pre digital lenses, and a convenient display ;) this is quite different .
CrazyCresties
The dials may be different but how aperture, iso and shutter speed all relate doesn't change, and if you're used to manual you already have that in your head :)

tdierikx
You are learning this action stuff REALLY fast perse... lovely photos of the pups and their squeaky toy... lol! I've been known to lie on my tummy on the ground to get different angles on the puppy action, but it's getting harder to get up from down there nowadays... if you are up for it, give it a go... ... at least you can't fall down from that position... hahaha! tdierikx
I don't remember it being so far down when I was younger... this gravity thing gets so much stronger as we get older, doesn't it? T.
