persephone
I feel incredibly humbled by receiving this camera in the mail yesterday ... my very first new DSLR ! Taking photos with this is a very different experience here are a few of the first , taken with supplied 18-55 lens . The one of my hand ,and Dougal cat were taken late last night .. lit only by a bedside lamp , and all are unedited , except for some cropping . I am impressed :)
CrazyCresties
Fantastic - enjoy your new toy! I look forward to seeing what you produce. You'll have to add a new macro lens to your list now :D
tikira
congrats on the new "Baby", I know you will cherish it. Enjoy getting to know it. Great first photo's . I can't wait to see more, although as we all know it is the photographer, not the equipment that counts most of all, so I don't really expect to see much difference. tdierikx
Are you using the new camera on the preset modes or in manual perse? If you are interested in trying some action type stuff - say with Ess and Don playing or working - I suggest trying out the Sports preset mode. Flick the dial to Sports, point in the direction of something cool happening and press the button... or have the continuous shot mode also set and just hold your finger down for a burst of photos. All of my zoo photos are taken in Sports mode... so I know that it gives nice results... *grin* T.
