Sunday at Taronga - the weather was horrible - cold and wet... but it made for less people, less glare on the glass, and more active animals that usually hide away when it's hot...

Tiger falling out of a tree... lol!

Thanks peeps!

Perse - Tigers sleeping is so passe... anybody can photograph them doing that, as they ARE sleeping most of the time... *grin*

The fact that I go so often to "my" zoos means that I get a better idea of which animals are likely to be doing interesting things at whatever times of the day. Getting known by the keepers also doesn't hurt either, as they are likely to help make things easier by placing food in good photo op positions, placing toys or other enrichment in same, explaining the animals' personalities, etc... so we can judge when things may be about to happen also...

Good grief it's Willow! :D

Awesome photos!

Can you imagine my excitement at seeing Willow out in the enclosure? She grabbed a bag of popcorn and then scuttled back inside really quickly though... ratbag!

Jantan put on more of a show by staying out for a good 20 mins.
