The miniature toy poodle was found on a nature strip at the intersection of Main and Haughton Roads around 11am. The dog was examined and following an autopsy it was determined the dog had likely been decapitated by a person and not as a result of the animal's actions. Police and council are also trying to track down the owner of the female poodle which is apricot in colour and is estimated to be around 2-years-old. She was not wearing a collar but had a small red and white bow on her right ear, the microchip was damaged and unreadable. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au Belinda Batty Media Officer 33616/2014 Link to comment
