HazyWal
Stan and Maddie were attacked today by a Staffy and a Cattle Dog. Maddie is on morphine awaiting surgery to her torn shoulder and Stan is nursing his bite wounds that thankfully don't require stitches. Why can't people make sure their dogs are contained? My dogs are muzzled, they couldn't fight if they wanted to, why can't I just walk my dogs?
Steph M
Jeez. That's absolutely nightmarish. Are you OK? Thinking of you all, sending best wishes. Maybe leave the fridge lock off tonight as a sign of solidarity ;)

coogie
Oh no, that's absolutely terrible. Sending healing thoughts, I hope they are both okay and that you are alright too, it must have been very frightening. Did the owners make an appearance or were the other dogs just running loose? I hope you can get them to pay the vet bills, I know that won't help poor Stan and Maddie but they should have to at least do that.

voloclydes
That's crap! Our neighbours dog used to short cut thru my place to her fathers place on the other side, on the way thru he attacked my dog on the chain... Tore him to shreds a dog that was whimsy and passive. It's a bugga, but they will be cared for and given extra loving by u I'm sure.

HazyWal
Thank's all, to be honest I'm a little numb. Every time I walk my dogs I pray they will be ok but today was not the day The girl came out from the house but the staffy was not to be stopped. I kicked and punched with everything I had but it just kept coming. I have a huge bruise and a blood blister on my hand from punching this dog in the head but to no avail. One dog had Stan by the back leg dragging him down the street while Stan screamed in fear and now my Maddie is awaiting surgery I am at a loss with everything at the moment :'(
