kelpiecuddles
A google search tells me she;s a member of every rescue related facebook page this side of newcastle just about! Plus a few border collie pages too. Most of her posts on rescue pages are asking for animals or offering to take animals. *kirty*
Is the fox her pet? Or is it for sale?
mixeduppup
I worry about the risk of sarcoptic mange with that fox near the dogs as well.
kelpiecuddles
Lynne from SCAR contacted me back, I've linked her to this thread also. Amy Gurney or whoever she is, is most definitely not involved in any way with SCAR.
Little Gifts
I got sent this link. Interesting reading https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?id=234670036567123&story_fbid=532295433471247 Clyde, if you go to this link and then click on her name you come up with the Mmz KieraLee page and on it are a few pics of chickens. Could some of them be yours? And she may have cleaned up but how the hell did it get so bad in the first place? Even inside was unsanitary! Also look at the water in the chicken's pen in this pic. Maybe she should drink it and see how she likes it - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152117313522621&set=a.10152117293872621.1073741830.520717620&type=1&theater
kelpiecuddles
I don't think the ones in the main part of that picture are Clyde's but in that one with the scungy looking pool there is a pen on the far right and you can kind of half see a chunkier looking chook in there which I wondered whether it might have been one of Clyde's
Clyde
Thanks guys, I scoured her page yesterday looking for glimpses, no signs of them. They're the biggest breed of chicken you can get so they are absolutely huge. They're exhibition black Orpingtons, very docile and gentle birds but do like a lot of space. Animal House
This is what she posted in relation to the filthy conditions, I'm appalled that she could keep a fox in that cage. here is it.. I had a death in the family and have been travelling to up north on almost a full daily basis.. We had someone feeding and watering the animals though they didn't clean out the ones they didn't feel comfortable or coudnt feel up to assuring they could put the animals back afterwards. Cages got dirty but were cleaned when we returned .. RSPCA have inspected as well as the police have been involved.. The people who trespassed and started the slandering come onto my property after knowing well we weren't home after seeing a status of our location.. They gave gumnuts to the cats and dogs including a feline with a digestive problem and have been put on a special diet from the vet so could have killed her if she had eaten it.. As well as stealing animal food which was only delivered Friday .. Our horses are on specific diets recommended and used by vets and equine rescue specialists and are doing well off it from having lack of grass and some health factors which have been resolved.. With the rain and storms whilst we were away and our dog being let off we had rubbish blown around etc and bags of empty feed laying around .. Once again hadn't been home so in time it builds up quickly.. AS to my animals being in this condition 24/7 is total rubbish and the person who started all this should look at her two skinny horses she hasn't seen in ages and has left in a paddock with no feed to rot .. Hopefully she will do something about it or maybe the RSPCA will..April 2 at 11:06am ·
kelpiecuddles
I don't buy that. I travel sometimes and have someone feed my animals and even if they have to go for nearly two weeks without a proper clean they never ever look anywhere near that state. That's at least a couple of months of not being adequately cleaned in my mind.
Steph M
Gumnuts to the cats? What? Pretty sure if I gave my cats gumnuts they'd just look at me blankly? Am.I missing something there? And its absolutely no excuse, I agree with you there KC, what about all the rubbish and crud everywhere?
Steph M
Oh I see. Storms. Still BS IMO.
kelpiecuddles
We've had the same storms here and despite there being a trailer load of rubbish sitting at my place waiting for a tip run only a few things got blown around. I honestly don't buy a single word written in that excuse
VizslaMomma
Sounds like the excuse has been written enough times in her head abd so now is real. Scenario is shocking.
Loving my Oldies
Sounds like the excuse has been written enough times in her head abd so now is real. But this is what happens with people who have hoarding problems. There is always some justification . . . . in their heads. Caveat: I haven't looked at the links in the posts regarding the conditions before a clean up, because there is enough without photos to get upset with Clyde, is it possible for you to go there to see if you can find your chooks? _PL_
Has anyone found at least one of these 'rescued' animals advertised for rehoming? edit OK, I've just been sent this so they must be advertised somewhere? Or at least vetworked? <name removed> I only associate with ethical people... You are one of them and have ALWAYS put the animals first. In rescue we save animals from death and further mistreatment, primarily caused by irresponsible people and you are one person we can always rely on as your dedication, ethics and love for animals is not questionable. You have the support of many reputable people and we will stand by you always. I will also add that the support you have comes from well-respected, registered, legally recognised rescue groups, both carers and co-ordinators. 2 April at 22:47 · 1 Edited April 5, 2014 by Powerlegs
rottie mum
I am Lynne from South Coast Animal Rescue, I have not been on here for many years & I am thankful for kelpiecuddles for alerting me to this post. I am horrified & disgusted to see what another so called rescuer is doing yet again, I would never condone any one like this & to see my name on here again frustrates me even more. Just wanted to clear things up, even thought I do not have to answer to any one or explain to any of you, these day I keep to my self & hardly have any thing to do with most so called rescuers, I have 2 carers who are absolutely brilliant at what they do & have only spoken to Amy on the phone a few times as she wanted me to help with some dogs that were coming in & on fb, I would not know her if I fell over her. I hope that my name is never posted on here again
_PL_
Don't stress Lynne. You won't be the only rescue stunned to see your name brought up I'm sure. Gives people apparent FB credibility when they throw established names around.
rottie mum
My name comes up far to often on this forum for no reason.
mixeduppup
Thanks for clarifying, Lynn, such a shame this woman is trying to associate herself with good, hard-working rescues to get credibility makes me sick.
