I only got a chance to get a quick dozen hand held shots when I got home, this is the best of the bunch. CrazyCresties Posted March 20, 2014 Author Share Posted March 20, 2014 Finally edited my shots from the field day at the weekend, so here are a few of them :) Pretty pleased with the lens so far, but have only had the one real outing with it. I'm planning to go to a lake in Perth at the weekend, so should be able to give it a good test with birds. Shooting at 600mm is a steep learning curve, the slightest movement is amplified! Quickly realised the monopod is no good for birds, so ended up handholding the beast for a few hours! Only edited this one so far, hopefully get round to the others tomorrow. A tip about the weight issue and using hand-held... you DO get used to it if you do it often enough... I've built biceps and decent shoulder strength since getting my 100-400... lol!
