Btw just in reference to your post in the teeth thread, I've given Odie deer antlers with no problems, I've checked with the vet and specialist and both agree that the protein content in deer antlers is very low and not enough to cause any real harm especially since they are a slow type chew. I do use with caution though (just like anything else). Not sure about the sodium content either. They're quite hard so there's no way Amber could gobble it up in one go. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Thanks Heidley and Odin-Genie! I think I'm going to give Earthborn a go next after he finishes this bag of Canidae. Interested to try him on a different protein source too to see if it makes a difference or not.

Poppy's teeth got really skanky from eating the VIP. Don't really know why. She did like eating it.

Amber isn't wanting to eat the L/D She wants Poppy's food.

How is Hank on rice? There is the Nutro Lamb & Rice formula. I've used that in the past with good results.

That's because its (VIP) labeling makes you think it's a quality food, it is not, it just is worded well on the ingredients panel.
