Kirislin
It was my dog Athena's birthday yesterday, she didn't get a cake but she got a fancy dinner shove over Athena How on earth did you get Athena to sit like that!!! Brilliant!! My naughty lot would have devoured that delicious dinner in ten seconds flat! As for Krislin - get in line!!! It's raw guys! (except for the mash potato) Yuck seafood, I hate the stuff! Athena however loves it. She really did score, I sent OH to get salmon offcuts but he reckons none of the fish shops had any so he had to get her a whole salmon steak! Westiemum can you see the concentration on her face waiting for me to give the command that she can eat it  She doesn't usually look that serious at meal time. that's OK, I can cook
Dame Aussie
Wow Gertrude that's pretty impressive, the salmon dinner and the sit. Stan gets a meat pie and I sort of have to throw it to him before he takes my arm off

Love the original "cake" Idea. I think I'll have to take a bit of that and Athena's dinner and make a fishy cake for when my boy turns 1!

Tassie
Don't go giving Gus ideas! Haha. - just making sure Kirra (who had her 12th birthday, with no cake, I'm ashamed to say, on Thursday) doesn't see this
grizabella
Happy birthday Athena! A lot of self control there, what a star! I must say, I find Athena's birthday dinner to look rather more appealing than the massive 'cake', though I think Miss Bella would have a hard time choosing between the two dinners. minimax
Exactly one month today until Boston turns two. I showed this to OH and she turned a little green (ironic considering I'm the vegetarian  ), and the words out of her mouth sounded a little like "over my dead body", but I'm determined now to make him something that has chicken feet holding a candle
