Do You Bring Your Dog To Cafes?

Saabi on Manson is another one at Hendra that allows dogs in their outside area. If you Google there is quite a few. I think the law only changed around Sept last year. Its outside only and at the discretion of the owners/management. I think its great. Great for socialising as there are so many places you cant anymore even a lot of markets wont allow dogs (sigh).

I am lucky enough to live in the dog friendly area of Newtown/Erskineville in NSW. I have brought my dog into two local chemists, cafes, the newsagency and even some pubs let your dog inside. Some parts of Australia have come a long way but some parts of Europe and the U.S. are by far the most pet friendly places in the world. I only wish Australia would follow suit.

I'm here too! But I don't take my dogs near King St or any of the main roads (they are too little and I find it stressful). I've heard Vic On The Park is a dog friendly pub, have you been there?

Sure do, if the cafe allows. I have taken them since they were pups so they are use of the enviornment.

Both just lays under the table/chairs and snooze while we eat and drink.

And if anyone is interested in a holiday in Mudgee, a number of places allow dogs in while you do your wine tasting. The Blue Wren vineyard has a lovely outdoor seating area where they serve great food as well.
