samanthony23
Hi guys, just been noticing in the past few days a sort of green mucus coming from his nose. It seems to be just one nostril. I'm not sure if I should be worried or if it may just be a "puppy cold" but I do get a bit nervous everytime I leave for work that it could be something more!!! If anyone has any insight or if I should be calling my vet ASAP, greatly appreciated! Thanks all!
persephone
A vet check is the ideal thing .. could be a foreign body , or an infection ... either way , the sooner it's treated, the sooner it stops ;)
Sandra777
Green indicates an infection of some sort. Could be major, could be minor. Anything to do with airways and eyes I get to the vet ASAP (it's not an emergency-in-the-middle-of-the-night situation though :))
Christina
Yes go to a vet very soon. Bulldogs can have breathing problems more than some other breeds so a blocked or snuffly nose would be so uncomfortable for him. Dogs aren't supposed to have green mucus coming out of anywhere. 2boxer
Def get him checked out by a vet! My boxer girl developed green snot which cleared after two different lots of abs. It has reoccurred twice since, the second time my vet did a flush of her lungs and airways and identified the bacteria. The next time it happened we used the same abs for that bacteria. If it occurs again he wants to refer us to a medicine specialist! Good luck with your boy
apocalypsepwnie
Vet for sure. Not only is it a sign of infection but for brachy breeds it can get serious quickly.
