DesertDobes Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 URGENT - ASSISTANCE NEED FOR PORT PIRIE RESCUE DOGS Just saw this on facebook if anyone can lend a hand with these dogs..... Port Pirie Rescue have been devastated by the sudden passing of their founder Marilyn Larcombe. PPR have approached RSPCA South Australia to assist in urgently finding homes for the dogs currently in their care. This photo album was put together today by an RSPCA South Australia volunteer to assist in providing adopters with information relating to the dogs available for adoption. Port Pirie Rescue will be holding an adoption day on Sunday 16 February between 11am and 3pm at 352 Nelshaby Rd, Napperby SA. 30 dogs and puppies, currently in care, need to be urgently rehomed. All adult dogs are available for a $50 adoption fee which includes desexing, microchipping and vaccination. There are also two puppies available for $150 desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Please share this album on your Facebook page or Facebook group in an effort to spread the word and help find homes for these dogs in need. The South Australian animal welfare and rescue community has been saddened to hear of Marilyn's sudden passing. The community's thoughts are with Marilyn's family and the volunteers from PPR.
