teekay
So, when it comes to animals dying in movies I am a complete sook, especially if it's dogs. Now I can watch films and relax  :D http://www.doesthedogdie.com/

LisaCC
It's almost the only time I ever cry in movies. Good website!

Loving my Oldies
I still haven't watched Red Dog. I am such a sook! No loss it was absolute rubbish. It's mildly entertaining, but you really aren't missing out on a great life experience if you don't ever see it   Read the book instead. Yes so many people went on about the movie and when I finally watched it, it was such a disappointment. Bad acting and just badly executed. Harrumph!
Simply Grand
The book is good though, I'm glad I read it before watching, although I did bawl through half of it. I still liked the movie though and cried in that too

Guest Clover
Red dog was crap, I don't know what the big deal was. Turner & Hooch gets me every time . And I have only been able to watch My dog Skip once.
JackieW
What an excellent idea. I actually won't watch some films because of the animals in them. And as soon as a dog or cat is mentioned in a thriller, I wait for something horrible to happen to it. Same with the horses in Dick Francis novels. Silly really :)
DeltaCharlie
I didn't read very far down the list before reaching "All Dogs Go To Heaven" and surprise, surprise there is an icon to say that a pet dies! Great idea though :)

Omg so many tears Oh yeah Altough I do enjoy movies that evoke strong emotions so I'd still prefer not to know the outcome (I also love watching horror movies alone at night in the dark...yeah I'm weird )
Sheridan
I was going to see a Will Smith movie some years ago (don't remember the name) and a friend said, 'Don't, it has a dog scene.' So I didn't.
Chris the Rebel Wolf
I was going to see a Will Smith movie some years ago (don't remember the name) and a friend said, 'Don't, it has a dog scene.' So I didn't. I Am Legend. I regret I ever saw that movie so much, however much my OT thinks it's a classic... *eyeroll* This is a very helpful website :) The hardest part of watching the latest Riddick is when his jackal dies... JackieW
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/columnists/mike-ward/365531/Dogs-on-TV-and-how-they-re-messing-with-my-head I agree with this guy. I've been known to lose interest in a programme as soon as I realise there's an animal in it that might come to harm :).
