redangel
I often share the majority of my pics to my fb friends...and FB is not a photo friendly site! Yes I know...use flickr...etc.. but Im after ease and not looking to create a fan base. I do however like to show my pics as they are on my computer.... I find the landscape aspect doesnt seem to be distorted by fb on my timeline...but portrait aspect is just a PIA! Now I see Ruthless and other people post crisp portrait aspect shots online on FB so it can be done obviously... Is it that we see a link to another photo site rather than their FB timeline??? Any ideas...Im personally sick of being forced to share all my pics in landscape...some of my pics need to be shown in portrait aspect- why should my friends see out of focus , stretched images of my favorite photos? Any help here would be great...I use LR
ruthless
I don't do anything special. Probably not what you wanted to hear! Here are my LR export settings for portrait FB pics if it helps. I don't sharpen in PS before this step. If uploading to an album I check the high-res tick box on the bottom left of the upload screen.
redangel
Oh wow! Thanks for the reply Ruthless much appreciated :) My only difference is my output is 75% and 72ppi (sharpen: high for screen) I will try to reset my settings. I think my pups are pretty ruthless and fetching...so I want to show em off to my friends some images that don't look "wrong"
