kelpiecuddles
Just wondering whether anyone knows where a person who admins a facebook buy and sell type page can be somehow charged(in theory because I'm sure they'd never pull their finger out to do it!) for allowing posts on their page selling underage pets? I placed a polite reply on someone's post who was giving away underage kittens(who looked to have ringworm as well but that's another issue), he didn't really care, although he at least had the decency to be polite in return. I'd like to message the site admin to push for them to include in the site rules that puppies and kittens must be 8 weeks but trying to get a bit of ammo to convince them if I can... kelpiecuddles
On thinking about it could they theoretically be charged with aiding the sale of illegal goods? Since pets are treated as goods from an ownership perspective and if they are under age or not chipped they are being sold illegally?
valbitz
Don't know about NSW but in Victoria you can report them to DEPI. You can send them an email with the page link and your concerns.
