Pjrt
as the title says, this dog needs a name. I like short strong names of two or three syllables. And I do not like names that need explanations, such as 'thrutrisha, which means hat pin is swahili' type stuff. Examples would be Goose, Crakka, Gambol, Lush. Short fun descriptive stuff. But open to any suggestion TIA ETA.....it's a girl..... Edited January 11, 2014 by skyefool

Mrs Rusty Bucket
Pretzel - I don't know why. Rusty - for red heads Bluey or Sapphire - for what Aussies call red heads Becky - friend with red hair and freckles. Cinnamon - red spice, also Chilli and Paprika Cherry - red sort of. Carmen - (Carmine) also red. I think. Scarlett - very red Rose or Rosie - red in a more gentle way Ochre - rusty red - some of it anyway Stormy - what red heads are supposed to be like temperament wise. Ok maybe not for a dog. And Bambi - got the same coat.

Pjrt
Thanks keep them coming After working with pet dogs for 28 years now it's kinda hard to have something a bit original. Most of the names I hear, I think ' oh I know three dogs with that name' or ' oh no way, I groom one of them at least every week!' I have had a Riley before. I can't have a Morgan Morgan, can I.....although I hear that's trendy right now! I don't really like names that end in a 'y' or 'ee" sound either, too babyish in my head! So far my favorite is Tick. I like Trash and Grunge too Or maybe Princess FruFru Fairyfarts , yes?
Dory the Doted One
Habit. So she could be a "Good Habit" or a "Bad Habit". Edited January 2, 2014 by Dory the Doted One

gwp4me
Easy, being a girl - give her a pretty name. Why settle for anything less?? Starting with which letter do you prefer? Edited January 2, 2014 by gwp4me
Pjrt
Haha I am lying in bed with a dead arm coz her big dopey head is resting on it while she cuts some wood. Perhaps name her after a chainsaw or tractor company...!! I don't have any preference for starting letters. While I think she is a stunner, not particularly pretty or feminine.
