kmaci
Can anyone recommend a good obedience class near me. I have looked at the websites for Messy PawZ, Berwick K-9iQ, Pro K9 and would like to know others opinions. I'm planning on calling each place tomorrow but was wondering what success or otherwise others have had. Thanks
Cosmolo
In that area i'd look at Southern Cross Animal Stars and/ or Pro K9. Make sure you can find out information about the trainers- i am always a bit wary when websites have no information about any qualifications OR experience. Southern Cross Animal Stars trainers are all NDTF qualified and do a lot of training with our own dogs. Our classes are held indoors in a very large area. We have classes for puppies, juniors, beginners, intermediate, advanced, beginners and advanced tricks and pre-performance. Classes are held every night except Fridays, and also on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Nekhbet
I know the owner of K9 IQ and I also know Pro K9, you can't go wrong with either of them if you choose them. Ultimately go down and take a look, see if you like the environment and how things are run :) you have to be comfortable with the environment so you can get the most out of it Edited January 3, 2014 by Nekhbet
Leah82
If you're looking for something longer term and are happy to travel a bit further I can recommend Knox Obedience Club. http://www.knoxodc.org.au/ We've had our two there from beginners up to level 3 in obedience and this year I'm going to branch out into Agility for one and Tracking for the other.
