LisaCC Posted December 12, 2013 Share Posted December 12, 2013 No Idea about the Tiger mottled ones, but I've came across a few "Chocolate heelers" and to me they look like they've had kelpie bred into them. I know one litter was being advertised here, Mum was a "chocolate", Dad was a bluey, pups were a mix. The Mum definitely had a thinner, bigger eared dog in her. Her dogs look all over the place (which I guess is to be expected if you've been crossing in other things) and pretty damn ugly. Why do some people feel the need to do that to some breeds? FFS there are 2, I repeat 2, colours in the PUREBRED ACD, red and blue... Yes different shades of both colours, but they come under the same colour, red or blue... Thats all there is, no purple, chocolate, auburn or tiger coloured etc, etc... They are just a bunch of crossbred mutts, thats all, don't even look like ACD's, as far as I'm concerned... I might order some goats while I'm at it. Thinking that a few of the small "boar" x dairy goats would be perfect. Would give the mixed breed mini cattle dogs their pacific purpose to herd my special new variety of livestock that give milk like a dairy goat and meat like a........a........pig? If anyone reading this feels a desire to get a miniature cattle dog. let me just say that I fostered 3 puppies that looked like miniature versions of a cattle dog (most likely some sort of terrier cattle dog mix) so if you want a 'miniature cattle dog' look for one in Rescue, they are out there :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
