keetamouse
It is with great sadness that I said goodbye to my "foster failure" Poncho who I adopted many years ago he was around 12 months old when he stayed and would have been approx. 12-13 years old, he was on heart meds for the last 12 months, I nearly lost him back then but he pulled through but it was too late for him yesterday. He collapsed 3 times and by the time I got him to the vets his lungs were full of fluid he rallied but once off the oxygen he just went down again, so as we all know as hard as it is to let them go we do it for them, he was really struggling the poor man. He was my sole mate and he was a Chi which are my great love. RIP little man I will miss you heaps.
Mjosa
So Sorry for your loss of Poncho, such a sweet little man. Sadly I had to make the same decision for my old fellow Finningan on Friday just gone, 11 years old and suffering the same problem, so I do know what you are going through right now Poncho and Finn are now together as new residents at the Fly with the angels beautiful boys. keetamouse
He is the only dog I have ever had who NEVER barked, hard to believe but in 12 years I never heard him.
White Shepherd mom
He lived like every dog should, loved and taken care of. I am sorry for your loss of Poncho keetamouse. You gave him a good life. My sympathies to Mjosa too, for your loss of Finnigan. May the two new angels cross the Bridge together and become friends.
