The Spotted Devil
Beautiful service from Edenhills recently for my darling cat. I have also ordered a box from Pearlymates for one of my dogs (her ashes have been in a tin) and the service thus far has been lovely. I'm sorry for your loss. D'smum
Eden Hills seem great. Have heard great feedback from clients about them.
disintegratus
I don't know if it's helpful, but about 7 years ago I used "Pets in Heaven" for my rat, and I found them exceptional. They even had a stationwagon done up like a hearse. service was fantastic, they guaranteed individual cremation (how true this is I don't know, but I can vouch for the fact that there's a chunk of rat tooth in the jar that I put my rat in, so there's definitely at least some of her there.) Malakita
Thank you all for your replies. I will look into Edenhills this morning. And yes I also did see the one where they said they have the only animal hearst in Australia or something to that effect.
AussieDog
I've used http://www.petcremations.com.au for a horse, dog and cat. No problems at all. They are out on the way to Geelong but offer a pick up and drop off service.
Cougar
We used Pearly Mates about 2 months ago, he was lovely. Our girl's timber urn is nice too. http://www.pearlymates.com.au/ he picked her up from the vet and delivered her back to my house.
Malakita
I rang Eden Hills this morning. They sounded nice. I will also look at Pearly Gates. Thank you all so much. :)
Ruffles
I don't know if it's helpful, but about 7 years ago I used "Pets in Heaven" for my rat, and I found them exceptional. They even had a stationwagon done up like a hearse. service was fantastic, they guaranteed individual cremation (how true this is I don't know, but I can vouch for the fact that there's a chunk of rat tooth in the jar that I put my rat in, so there's definitely at least some of her there.) I used this company for my cat, Cujo when he passed away. They were fantastic, and handled me well considering how distraught I was. Everything came back in lovely order, and with nice poems and such.
Malakita
I have decided to go with Eden Hills. The lady I spoke to is really nice and their metal urns really stood out to me. They will pick him up today. She said she will also get some locks of fur for me. Thank you all for your help.
