Groomer Recommendations In Newcastle Nsw

Hi,

I have been reading about groomers on dol and some of the problems others have encountered.

As the time comes to have our dog clipped for summer I was wondering if there were any local Novacastrians who could recommend a good groomer.

Our dog is 7 yrs old, and we have had him for 12 months, he is a rescue, and I am not sure how he will react to being groomed, so someone with experience and compassion would be great.

He is a good dog, but is fussy about his ears being touched - (if he thinks you might hurt him around his head and ears, he may snap at you)

I would prefer to be there when he is clipped

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Pets Australia has a lot of groomer members - and quite a few from your area... give them a call and I'm sure they will be able to recommend a few...

Maybe I am reading it wrong but it appears you have to join and pay a membership fee to view the list of businesses?

No biggie, if you give them a call, they'll happily recommend one of their member groomers... *grin*

... one of their member groomers won the Buddy Award at Groomquest this year... and they were very helpful to Caz after the incident where she lost her dear old Buddy to that maverick groomer in Penrith (who wasn't a member of any organisation)

I know a friend of mine grooms at Greencross Lambton - not sure what days. Her name is Jess and she's lovely
