LOLAFOLATA
Hi, When surfing for info and treatment for cruciate injuries I came across Prolotherapy on a US vet site. Has anyone had this treatment undertaken or able to provide more information? Also been investigating leg braces. They appear to generally be used for post operative support of the leg. I wondered if it could be used as a measure to prevent full rupture with normal activity. Thanks LF
ness
When it was looking as though my 13 year old BC may possibly not be able to have cruciate surgery I was chatting to a rehab guy in the US who did suggest a brace might be ok as an alternative. I would have to go through and look at which brand he suggested though. You could also try contacting these guys who handle braces/supports in Australia - http://www.dogsinmotion.com.au/portfolio/custom-orthotics-and-prosthetics/ ETA. I think it was the atrac dynamic brace from wound wear. Edited November 13, 2013 by ness
