BecC
Hi all, I have a bottle of scourban that I haven't used which has been stored at room temp for the past year and a half. Any thoughts on whether it is still ok? My 6 year old greyhound, Lewie, has bad diarrhea last night, though seems better now .... Thanks
Fordogs
It does have quite a long shelf life, you would have been ok to use it.
sheena
I didn't realise you could use it on dogs, we keep some handy to use for the calves when they get the blood scours, but we keep it in the fridge.

Yes, works well. My hound is about 30 kg and he, when sick, was prescribed 20 ml twice a day.
Dante
My vet said it lasts forever! Mind you I wouldn't take that literally - but I think it would be ok.
sandgrubber
With most meds, keep them cool and they're ok for a long time. High temperatures speed chemical reactions . . . which is what you don't want. I've kept scourban for years in the fridge . . . it seems to work fine.
