Blackdogs
My boy went into the pound with a girlfriend but since she didn't have issues she was quickly adopted. He was so sad when I got him that I searched for her hoping she might be resurrendered. I don't know if he would recognize her now so if I saw her it would be a tough decision. Still I keep looking. That's actually a really sad story. I always hope a bonded pair end up finding a home together when I see them. Maybe one day when the time comes I will acquire a pair. julesluvscavs
We have been talking about down the track when Renae leaves us that we might get back into fostering small dogs again. If i was into bigger dogs i would love to adopt Leema's Bandit (hes currently in the rescue section on DOL). I have been smitten with him ever since seeing a pic of him today in my fb newsfeed ! http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/253228-how-to-rehome/ Edited November 7, 2013 by Jules❤3Cavs

hankdog
Oh dear ,she's a dead spit for my old man Hank. If Jake wasn't reactive I'd be driving down to get her now. She sounds so similar in nature to him too.

What an amazing looking dog. Her personality sounds perfect! I'm in Vic anyway, sadly. If I was in a position to have another dog, however, I'd probably find a way. She'd better find a home soon, or temptation will get the better of me!

BC Crazy
Yes guilty..... an almost daily thing for me to do is look up all the rescues. I can't have any more dogs atm but that doesn't stop me from browsing through them all. Reading their details etc. Following their plight to see if they get adopted & where they go. Love to read that some are snapped up to loving homes. Always got a big soft spot for any working breed & there is always so many of them unfortunately Edited November 8, 2013 by BC Crazy

Leah82
Guilty. I have just a couple that I keep an eye on. The rescue org that I got Sarah through and English Cocker Spaniels Australia. They post lots of other cocker spaniel pics, not just the ones that need forever homes. There's usually at least one 'Nawwwwwww' a day :) here's the latest nawwww https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=689888064355054&set=o.356103141098458&type=1&theater
Cazstaff
Yes guilty , I already have 5, 4 are foster failures. Im not in a position to foster at the moment as Iv'e gone back to study but I still look all the time. Its the oldies that get me, Id love to have a doggie nursing home where they all get loved and spoilt till their very last breath. I will be eternally grateful for what Tammy brought to my life and she still makes me smile inside whenever I think of her. My darling Buddy boy made me melt and now big Rocko is almost 10 he is becoming quite the old man too. Nothing I love more than a grey muzzle! Holly at Broken Hill has my heart at the moment, she is so beautiful and has $150 donation for reputable rescue, I hope someone can help her soon HOLLY Broken Hill pound Oh and the scruffers too, I love wolfies  like darling Harold ! ash1
This has been my guilty secret for quite a while now, so it's a relief to know I'm not the only one! We have six dogs, all ex rescue and really are at our limit (according to my husband, anyway). But it doesn't stop me looking at least a couple of times a week. Three of our dogs are only young, between 8 and 18 months old, so realistically I have my hands full and don't have the time for another one at this stage, but maybe in another six months or so.... tarope
Yes I'm guilty too...about a year after I lost my GSD Tara to cancer...I was looking on Pet Rescue and saw this young GSD girl 7.5 mths old that someone had dumped...so we adopted her and she's given us hell ever since. We've had her a year now and still a handful but improving all the time and we do love her. Taliecat
I do it every day or so.. Today was a cruel exercise, as I found the RSPCA have $99 adoptions. The boys at work were yelling at me to get off the rescue websites..
Rosetta
The RSPCA in Brisbane are full - maybe the reason for the discount. And it is not yet Christmas holidays
huga
I never used to, but since I started shooting for a local shelter, I do tend to flick through now. There are a couple of long termers at the shelter that have managed to worm their way into my heart.
Dame Aussie
I can't. I won't even click on those links, I'm too soft hearted when it comes to dogs and I just end up sad. Me too.
