PeiLuvR
Hi everybody, It has been some time since one of my own dogs needed Entropian Surgery. I have previously used a general veterinary surgeon to do the operation. My current vet is now telling me that I must use an Opthalmologist. We have a booking with the specialist, but i want to research my various options. Does anyone have any advice regarding Eye Specialists versus a surgeon to do the Entropian. Any recommended vets in Melbourne? This post is aimed at people who have dogs which have required the surgery before. Breeds such as Shar Pei, Bulldogs, Mastiffs, boxers, etc etc. I know of Andrew Turner and Simon Hurn who consult in Kensington at Advanced Vet Care. And Dr Robyn Stanley at Point Cook Animal Accident and Emergency Centre. Scot Plummer at South Eastern Animal Hospital. I would like to know if you have used these vets and if you were happy with their work. Thank you for any info and advice.

Pretty Miss Emma
Haven't had a dog needing entropian surgery but went to Animal Eye Care with my old girl and they were brilliant (I ended up with all of them working on her mystery problems one way or another). I can't recommend them highly enough.

PeiLuvR
Scott Plummer is not an eye specialist. Thanx Kirty. I am led believe he has done 'hundreds of eye surgeries' though for a specific breed rescue group. Thats why i mentioned him. Thankyou
