Lhok
He has been pooping, he has been weeing a little more then usual. I was thinking that maybe the antibiotics or the pain meds could have been reducing his appetite but I wasn't sure if they could do that. --Lhok
persephone
I am cynical because sometimes vets make mistakes ......there may be something not quite right internally ..due to the surgery ? No idea- just tossing in ideas....
whippytails
Could his meds be making him feel nauseous and when he eats it makes it worse? Hope Treble is on the mend soon, must be stressful for you both.
Rosetta
Maybe the pain meds are not agreeing with him? Could the vet try a different one? Oh sorry just saw that has been mentioned Edited November 2, 2013 by Rosetta

Justrace
Yay for eating breakfast. My son just had a hernia operation and is taking longer to recover than they said it would, the stitches are pulling and annoying him, everything stings. Might be the same for your furkid
Lhok
Had a look at his wound site, it's looking pretty red and angry. I have a vet appointment for him tomorrow so I will be talking to them about it. Good news though is he was super excited by dinner tonight and ate it all in one sitting. --Lhok

aliwake
So glad to hear he's eating again! I can imagine how stressed you've been. Hopefully his wound settles down now too.
