Rascalmyshadow
A thread in off topic got me thinking about how much I love having chooks, we have had so many types of pets over the years ( rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, ducks, snake, birds etc) and so far the chooks are my favourite and ferrets would be my other choice. Podengo
I like so many animals, for so many reasons! I like rabbits because they are incredibly cute and really entertaining to watch, and they can be so friendly and snuggly. I like frogs because they are really fascinating to watch and I love setting up their tanks. I like fish because they are nice to look at, and I like setting up their tanks too! I like chickens because they have such unique, quirky personalities and their social dynamics are better than an episode of Home & Away I like cows, just because :) When you get to know them they are really very lovely... Some of my best memories are laying in long grass with a cow laying beside me in the mid summer sun I like sheep because they are fun, and really mischievous! I like rats because they are so clever and affectionate... I want all the animals!

Blackdogs
I liked owning rats and parrots, but I've always wanted chickens. Just love them.
persephone
I adore the companionship of horses , but they are too much heartbreak. Probably Guineafowl .... :) They are such weird Dinosaur Birds .

Leah82
definitely rabbits, I've had 2, one when I was a teenager and the last one was a perfect apartment pet, he passed away in Dec last year. Here's Spike munching on some watermelon :) Now that I've got my doggies though I probably won't have any more bunnies, too much effort to keep them apart, not to mention the god awful smell cleaning the cage :p
Ellie
I would love a horse, but sadly don't have the room to keep one.

Kajtek
Definitely frogs :D My next lot will be one dog, one cat and lots of chickens in the backyard. That should make it sufficiently interesting heheh
Daisy.Tea
I love my chickens. They are so quirky. I also cannot wait till I am able to have some land for some cows and sheep. It's a long way off...
DakotaJ
Ducks - they are so funny - and if they are bonded to you they follow you everywhere, quacking
hankdog
I love my chickens, I find I can watch them for hours. I hope when I'm old and have lost the last of my marbles they just push me out to watch chooks all day.
dotdashdot
Cockatiels are my other love besides dogs. I like all birds, but cockatiels always seem the most trusting and sweet little guys (well my babies that I'm handraising are!)
ESCS
Mice. They are funny, busy little things. My daughter wants a blue tongue lizard and I love them too but I am thinking they might be better off in the wild.
Starkehre
Axolotls, rates, snakes and horses. Love them all, owned them all, but sadly doubt I will own any of them again. Just in a different place in my life now. Edited October 22, 2013 by dyzney
rusty&biscuit
Hmm...have a cat, don't like cats; had fish, never again; had an axylotol, too hot here for them anyway; had hermit crabs, boring; had a cockatiel, don't like birds in cages; had mice, loved them and now would love a rat! I've leased a horse also, would love another if I had enough room, and I would really love a rat! But really, my heart lies with dogs, and I'd chose another dog over any other animal any day :D
