Red Fox
Forrest Micke will be in NZ for a seminar next year if you're interested. Price is very reasonable, even when you factor in flights ;-) https://www.facebook...594627817227342

Red Fox
Does anyone know of any good youtube videos etc that show how this is trained? I want to learn! What you see in the Forrest Micke video in the original post is trained through Michael Ellis methods. You can buy the DVDs through Leerburg http://leerburg.com/ellisdvds.htm You would need to understand the marker system to train this way. It is explained in these 3 DVDs; The Power of training Dogs with Markers The Power of Training Dogs with Food The power of Playing tug with your Dog The heel work is covered in the focussed heeling DVD http://leerburg.com/223.htm There are also plenty of free vids here if you scan through http://leerburg.com/flix/category.php?categoryid=
mochi
Wow thanks for the links! That site is a goldmine. But I shall start with the foundation marker/food/tug stuff first. And hopefully I will have a video some time next year...! Paddles, I am in Melbourne :)
