zifnab
Hi all; I'm after any recommendations for dog life jackets. She's a lean, deep chested, large mixed breed. I'm after something with a handle on the back to assist with getting back on a kayak. Thanks

denali
I had an ezy dog one, http://store.ezydog.com/doggy-floatation-vest/ :) It worked very well :) Has a handle too, it is hard to see on the picture though :)

Pretty Miss Emma
I had a RuffWear one (the "portage" model), it was absolutely brilliant. Allowed for easy movement but kept the dog high in the water.
Guest Clover
My little guy has an ezy dog one and it works great.
BC Crazy
Both mine have Ezy Dog life jackets. Have seen other that maybe less bulky but they work really well. I find the handle on the top great when Stella was a puppy & decided to jump over board to chase the pelicans while we were fishing in the middle of the lake LOL. OH was just able to reach over & gently lift her back in. I pop them on both of mine if water ways have strong current or are very busy with other boats etc. They are easily spotted in the water as they are brightly coloured :) Edited October 18, 2013 by BC Crazy
Staff'n'Toller
I had a RuffWear one (the "portage" model), it was absolutely brilliant. Allowed for easy movement but kept the dog high in the water. I think that's the one I bought from you? I still have it, will be using it for the next dog, and I prefer it over the ezydog one I have. :) Edited October 19, 2013 by Staff'n'Toller
BC Crazy
I love the look of the ruff wear ones as they aren't as bulky but I hadn't seen them around when I brought my Ezy dog ones. I've had mine for quite some time now. Edited October 19, 2013 by BC Crazy
Wabbit
We have the RuffWear K9 Float Coats for our Staffords. Very happy with them. Bought them from K9 Pro.
Lasareina
Wabbit I have been looking for my two staffords as well.. the main problem for my two is that their bums keep sinking as they aren't kicking enough with their back legs lol... wondering if you have a similar issue and do your life jackets keep their bums up? sheena
The Hurta ones have a good sized underbelly strap to distribute the weight more evenly & are VERY adjustable :)
