Dobecrazy
Hello! me again. What do people use or recommend for hair regrowth? I'm talking hair that has been scratched off slowly from lying on concrete or from cuts or scratches. Is there anything that works? any tips of the trade? I know in some situations hair just doesn't grow back but I'm looking into doing whatever I can to make sure it does :)
Yonjuro
You can try pure virgin coconut oil both topically and internally - you can get it at health food shops.
Maddy
Some of our dogs like to sunbake on the concrete and really, there's no fast way of regrowing hair that has been rubbed off like that. Prevention is definitely your best bet- a lightweight coat, made from smooth fabric and long enough to cover his thighs when lying down is an option if he insists on concrete naps. A better option is to get him a raised bed and then use one of the soft Snooza covers on it (they seem fairly weather resistant).
