Rebanne
I did do a search but most of the information that came up was from 2011. That thread showed there was a lot of interest in it and people were starting to use it on their pets. I am now considering it for Fern. What's the latest thoughts on it? Good success rates? Does the Pet insurance companies pay out on it? ( I will be ringing PetPlan to check) Any updates, good or bad, would be appreciated.
HazyWal
Skyesblue did this with her Stafford. She doesn't post on DOL anymore but if you PM her she may be able to answer some of your questions, she is a vet nurse as well so she knows her stuff. Inevitablue
The options have increased since 2011. I would never do the invasive technique of harvesting the dogs own fat when you can now buy cells grown in the lab from dog donors. Success is always varied, really depends on the correct diagnosis of the condition in the first instance and the level of degeneration. There were rumours that one insurance company was covering one companies older technique, but I could never get that confirmed. Petplan certainly doesnt cover it. Look into the Cryoshot from Regeneus.
Rebanne
Thanks will check it out a bit more. Another issue has now cropped up which has to be sorted first before I follow up on the SCT.
