Hi everyone. Does any one know the proper name for the things that go in/on the back seat of the car and sort of stop the dog going under the seat? They are made of material and somehow hook over the back of the front seat. I hope someone knows what I mean. Tried doing a google search but a bit hard when I'm not sure of the proper name.

Yep have one in the back of my car and its awesome . There is an entire thread on the awesomeness of back seat buddies already posted on DOL.

I know it won't stop your dogs distress (that I read in the other post) while driving... But I use these on the back seat of my car :)
