kelpiecuddles
Just wondering whether I saw any of you at the dragon boats today as there were a few lovely looking dogs around including a gorgeous standard poodle with a slight blue rinse, a GSP, plenty of small fluffies and a lovely big long haired sight hound which I only saw from the distance but think it was a borzoi. minimax
Not I (although I'm not a Nowra person, but I am a dragon boat person. Just didn't go down to today's regatta as I was busy  )
kelpiecuddles
It was fabulous! We didn't even know it was on, had the kids and the dogs in the car planning a day out at the park and heard it on the radio so figured we'd check it out. Just wish I'd taken a jumper as it was pretty breezy right on the river
minimax
The next one down there is January 11th, I'll be at that one, and it will be bigger. Edited September 15, 2013 by minimax
Flashsmum
I wanted to take the dogs for a walk there, but we had visitors for the weekend, and they weren't overly interested . minimax
I know some of you were interested in this last time it was on in Nowra, so just giving it a bump as there are dragon boat races on again in Nowra next Saturday, January 11th. I'll be there this time, not with the dogs though - I'll be busy enough as it is without them, I'm paddling as well as managing two crews
kelpiecuddles
Oh we might head up and check it out. What time are things kicking off? Might just bring Josie with me as Sascha is getting a little over crowds in her old age whereas Josie loves it :p If anyone sees me with my basset girl and looking stressed out with 3 kiddies in tow come and say hi :) (My real name is Erin(cos it's really weird having to walk up to people and call them a made up online name  )

I loved once when someone came up to me and said "are you minimax?" I cracked up laughing, because DOL is the only place I use this username so I knew it had to be someone from here
minimax
I'm exhausted, but home in Sydney now after a huge day of racing. I'll put some pics up later, just for fun. Did you come down kelpiecuddles, or was it too hot?
kelpiecuddles
We did come for a little while but the kidlets were being painful and not making it very relaxing so I gave up LOL, we went to Culburra Beach for the sandcastle competitions and a play in the water afterwards and then home to mow the lawn :D
