Nothing. Not even a possible sighting as far as I know. :(

eta I might ask for this to be moved to General so more people spot it and it doesn't clog up the rescue section. :o

Oh :crossfingers: It is Eddie & someone can catch the poor lad. Buladehlah is about 1 hour north of me. Lots of bushland around that area + the very busy highway.

Least it's a possible start. You are probably right about moving thread. I will just follow it on Lost & found as I did notice it on there. Sorry folks :o

No don't be sorry! Lost and Found is very quiet so I was just thinking General would be better? I've messaged Troy to see if it's OK

I put him here because he's a foster but it was probably not the cleverest place. :o

Yes Powerlegs Lost & found is very quiet atm isn't it? which is great but not if you want get people's attention.

I just hate to hear of missing dogs. Breaks my heart. The thought of them running frightened /injured etc :( So if they could be in or near

my area I will always help out if possible.

I know. :( It doesn't sound good.

Those towns are on the way home to Taree, up the highway unfortunately.

He's such a good boy. DRN found him a lovely carer with a female cattle dog and took him on at short notice as the family struggled to come to terms with his Mum's drastic downturn. I just can't believe how wrong everything has gone. Poor Eddie.

:( Bummer... I was hoping after yesterday someone may have caught him at Buladelah but :( Poor fella

There is so much bush in that area too. Buladelah is by passed by the freeway now too.So you actually have to turn off

to go there. But he 'maybe' was there yesterday. Who knows where Eddie is now :( Hope someone finds him :crossfingers:

Sad isn't it :(

Apparently one lady saw him although had zero time to get a photo because she pulled up, turned around on the highway and tried to get him to come to her. He ran away from the road and away back into a paddock scrub.

His DRN carer is putting an ad in the next newspaper and his photo is still being circulated widely on FB.

I can only hope the sighting was definitely Eddie and that he is heading home with enough sense to stay out of traffic. :crossfingers:

His family will go back to his farm and drive through the backroads and remote towns hoping that he's on his way.

Poor Eddie. I would have loved to take him on as an SSR dog, he's so sweet and he'd be fine with my littlies but moving a still active farm dog to Newtown would have been selfish of me. :(

The busy free way is what really worries me too. He will have no road sense if he is a farm boy. The noise alone would be enough to frighten the pants off him :(

Yes Powerlegs, I agree with you. I doubt whether Eddie would settle to well in Newtown when he is a country lad at heart.

Gosh I hope we get some good news soon. Cattle dogs are a very bright breed & extremely faithful. Also very resilient & he will need to be. As long as he can stay safe long enough to be rescued :crossfingers:
