pirate
My dogs have a bank account and they each get $20.00 a week that cover their insurance and entries for shows etc. Sometimes the account needs topping up depending on what they are doing. GardenGnome
We dont usually give our animals 'pocket money', but a bank account set aside for them for things they need, JIC, I dont think is a bad idea. I may need to start doing it! :-) Edited August 16, 2013 by GardenGnome
Guest hankodie
We have some funds which we keep in the savings account in case of an emergency but other than that we haven't designated any pocket money for the dogs, I'd rather remain blissfully unaware of how much money we spend on them
JackC
My boy has his own section on my on-line budgeting system, I might start investing in some shares for him as well
Little Gifts
What kind of chores must they do to receive their pocket money? In my house it is: 1. eat less doonas and pillows 2. don't pee in the human undercover area when it is raining 3. don't poop on the tent I left to dry/air against the fence that just happened to fall over while I was out 4. don't back roll and drag your bits all over the carpet I just shampooed, and 5. get your own kibble when mummy needs a sleep in. Sadly, my dogs are underachievers and have very little savings to date!
