Congrats on cracking the breed, dee lee... But minimax's investigation & pic were not wasted. The pic answered my first question... why doesn't a dog that lives on a roof, fall off? Now off to google 'Kangal'.
casowner
A heavy duty lgd breed living on a roof top I am not suprised it barks at other dogs, its senses would be on 24/7 with all of those things walking around all of the time

mixeduppup
Their roof would be very safe from birds, low flying planes, cat burglars and spiderman. Edited August 14, 2013 by mixeduppup

Dame Aussie
Yep, I can attest to the power of an Anatolian/Kangal keeping ANYTHING away from their property

Magnificent beast - I'd love to meet him at street level. How big is he compared with your Goldie, dee lee? I don't know, sad to say, I've only seen photos of him. But comparing him to his cocker mate, I'd estimate he'd be double Honey's height. I didn't know Kangals & Anatolians were the same- cool!! Re the privacy issue, maybe delete the photos? Loving my Oldies
So it's not the Marrickville yeti? Or a panther? Sheesh! Disappointing isn't it  . Sadly, I don't have much call to go to Marrickville anymore. I used to go through there regularly to the place where I bought my raw dog food, but they have closed I'll just have to go for the pastries :D ...... and to try to see a Kangal IRL.
