Not being something I've tried to really shoot much (birds) the opportunity came up at the local wetlands yesterday when out walking/exploring with the hound. Pelicans are perhaps a bit boring/common, got to test the camera on something other than dogs at least haha, seems birds are easier work for it than dogs! I have some shots of Dixie the Whistling Kite in full flight at the Taronga Bird Show though... she can reach speeds of around 60kmh, and they were taken hand held... And some from the same location recently.... Australian Pied Oystercatcher with what appears to be a deformed bill. Little Egret (I think).
